During the Winter of 2022, the worlds eyes turn to Qatar, a tiny nation state on the Arabian Peninsular and the smallest country ever to host the FIFA World Cup. Qatar is the richest country on earth and now it is exploding onto the international stage with its capital city, the ultra-modern Doha, joining the likes of Beverly Hills, Monaco, and Dubai as one of the most glamorous places on the planet . The Jewel in Dohas crown is a city within a city, The Pearl Island - the ultimate vision of international, cosmopolitan, luxury lifestyle in the 21st Century. Here, nothing but the best will do - no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of perfection. In the searing heat of the desert, the sunshine of unlimited wealth and infinite ambition illuminates all. Move over Monaco, this is an island to rival the most luxurious places on the planet. As well as exclusive access to the elite of Qatari society, this film meets the people behind the scenes - the workers, maids, waiters, chefs, entrepreneurs, builders and engineers who make everything tick and deliver a seamless luxury experience for all who come here.
